is an inflammation of the facial skin that is chronic, episodic and relatively common. It mainly affects people in middle adulthood, women more often than men. Depending on the severity, copper fin first appears as persistent redness with the formation of veins (couperosis). Later, nodules and pustules may appear. Especially in men, a bulbous nose (rhinophyma) forms in the course of the disease. Usually rosacea begins in the fourth or fifth decade of life, but more rarely it occurs before the age of 30.
