Cellulite is also colloquially known as “orange peel skin”. The skin condition affects up to 90 percent of all women and does not usually occur in men. Although a progression can be seen with increasing age, cellulite is by no means a purely age-related phenomenon.
Cellulite treatment in Berlin may be necessary even at a young age, especially if you are overweight or have flabby connective tissue. A clear distinction must be made from the skin disease cellulitis, which sounds similar but refers to a bacterial infection.
First of all, cellulite is not a disease and therefore does not need to be treated as such. However, the dimples on the thighs and buttocks are aesthetically disturbing and, for some women, also cause psychological problems. From a medical point of view, it is a change in the fatty tissue under the skin and the swelling of the collagen strands in the connective tissue. There are three degrees of severity, distinguished by pinch test and visibility when standing or lying down.
Cellulite can of course be treated or at least diminished, but unfortunately this does not work from one moment to the next. Furthermore, in this case it is not enough to work with beauty creams or tinctures, but in addition to manual treatments, you must also lead as healthy a lifestyle as possible. Especially nicotine and alcohol, but also too much exercise and being overweight favour orange peel skin. If caring for the body is combined with various treatments such as mesotherapy or even cryolipolysis and fat-blasting, an important step in the right direction has already been taken. The treatment depends on the severity.
Mesotherapy has been used in cellulite treatment in Berlin for many decades and originally comes from dermatology. Its special feature is that it is natural and gentle on the organism. Tiny needles are used to introduce a combination of natural active ingredients such as valuable vitamins or amino acids into the skin. The result is better blood circulation in the skin and a reduction in orange peel skin and its dimples.
Cellulite always has to do with the storage of fat in the connective tissue. With a fat-removal injection, the deposits can be gently dissolved and the fat metabolism stimulated at the same time. The injection works up to six centimetres under the skin and the fat cells literally melt away. The fat is removed via the metabolism, which can take a few weeks but is the most natural method.
Those who opt for cryolipolysis tackle cellulite with cold. Here, too, the focus is on the fat cells, which are cooled to temperatures of around four degrees for over an hour with a special device and thus disappear. The treatment is carried out in a maximum of three sessions – with remarkable results.
Risks and side effects are not particularly pronounced with any of the treatments. Only minor temporary inflammations or very rare allergic reactions have been recorded so far. In addition, the treatments usually last only ten minutes and only cryolipolysis takes about an hour.
