Electrocoagulation is an effective method to get various cosmetic problems under control. Especially benign growths in the area of connective tissue such as stalk warts, fibromas, but also spider veins, haemangiomas and fatty or age warts can be removed in this way.
Electrocoagulation involves the use of electricity. In simple terms, a spark is created during the treatment, which burns the unwanted skin lesions. The advantage is that the burn automatically stops bleeding and it is therefore also a method that is used in surgery. Electrocoagulation falls into the field of high-frequency surgery. It is characterised by the use of alternating current at a high frequency, which has clear advantages over surgery with a scalpel. All that remains is a slight scab that disappears on its own after a short time.
The areas of application for electrocoagulation are manifold. For example, spider veins on the lower and upper thighs, haemangiomas, dilated veins and many other skin conditions can be removed gently and effectively in just a few seconds.
At the BellaDerma Specialist Centre for Aesthetic Treatments, electrocoagulation is performed using the T-AWAY method. We also treat benign growths in the area of connective tissue such as stalk warts or fibromas, spider veins, haemangiomas and fatty warts or age warts with the laser.
